Warm December Greetings Friends!
Last Thursday evening, with the help of many friends and family, Mark and I moved out of our ecce spaces. A few tears were shed but more than that, an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for all of the support we’ve been given over these years, both personally and for ecce itself, was felt. I think I speak for both of us when I say this has all been quite bittersweet. It feels like a chapter in our life, and in downtown, has ended. But I do believe the next chapter will be just as amazing and exciting.
Mark has already transformed another beautiful downtown space (the renovated historic Loudon Building- kiddy corner from the downtown Fargo Public Library) into a gallery showcasing the work of Bob Crowe. I encourage all of you to visit it and support local art in the coming weeks! My brother has an eye for beauty and his vision continues to be reflected in all he does.
And what about the yoga studio? Currently we are offering classes at the Spirit Room (111 N Broadway, one block south of our previous space). Remember that all current punch cards can be used for these classes. Once punch cards are used up, drop ins are available for purchase ($10 per class).
I want to thank you for your understanding and patience during this transition time. I strongly encourage you to continue your practice. It is my hope to support Jim and Steph during this time as well the Spirit Room, which has been so welcoming and generous to us all.
The practice is inside of you. If all you have is five minutes, then take those five minutes to sit and breathe with full attention. On days when you have more time, incorporate movement (you know what to do!) and breathwork. This time of year it’s important to stay grounded and connected. Take time to be with yourself as well as with others who lift you up. Take those moments to look around, to feel, to listen, to be.
Sending much love and warmth to all of you,
