1950’s hula hooping has evolved into hoop dancing! This is a fun way to exercise, but it can become so much more. It’s an experience that builds connection, confidence and transformation. We work in a series to build skills you can practice along the way. Expect hoop dance to improve strength, coordination and deliver cardiovascular conditioning for the body. Some of the advantages for mind and spirit are stress relief, a sense of power, creativity and flow along with developing friendships and community. No experience is necessary and hoops are provided for use or for sale. Removing jewelry is recommended and clothing that is form-fitting works best as bulky items tend to twist as the hoop revolves.
