Letting go and laughter are acts of self-care for emotional healing. In this course, we will engage in a variety of mindful exercises to release the stress of the week, month or season. Class will progress into an abbreviated session of Laughter Yoga. Laughter is a mind-body therapy that both helps shut down the release of cortisol, a harmful stress hormone, and releases endorphins, the brain chemicals known for the “feel-good” effect.
Each session is unique with a focus on releasing stress and cultivating joy! This course is most effective when completed in the 3 class series to build your stress-relief tool box, but drop-ins are also welcome!
